Misengabo E Kapuadi is a freelance photojournalist based in New York City. Born in France in 1980, she was raised by (DR) Congolese parents and speaks five languages.Self taught photographer, her passion for photojournalism began at childhood after opening an atlas about world social events, issues and conflicts called "Points Choc". She was fascinated by how powerful photographs could speak for themselves, and describe such intense historical events. After working several different jobs, she realized her passion for taking photographs herself, telling stories, sharing visions and inspiring through photography was still burning. So she decided to take it to another level.
